Nice win.

Have there been any rumblings of the Bulls looking for a SG at the deadline?

Not really. There was that report of the Bulls being interested in Anthony Parker, but there hasn't been a whole lot besides that.

I'll take a 3-2 trip. The last two games have been fun to watch against pretty good teams.

Except the report about interest in Lee (which pretty much all the local beat guys indicate is true - they've been scouting the hell out of him), the reports of interest in Mayo (but Memphis's asking price being too high - which may or may not be the case after the suspension), and the reports of interest in Smith.

Horace was gone no matter what.

In which case, the 8 peat would've been interrupted in 95.

The Lee thing is the only trade I've seen that actually tossed out what the Bulls would be giving out. Dealing for Mayo and Smith makes sense on paper but I never saw what the Bulls would give up besides what fans thought it might take.

Yeah, I never thought that there was much substance to the Mayo and Smith rumors.

Rose is the best PG alive. There is no question. Chris Paul is a skirt.

For as good of a defensive PG as Paul is, I didn't see him do much on Rose last night. Paul needs constant screens to get a shot off. Reminds me of Heinrich.

One thing I learned yesterday: holy crap do the Hornets announcers and fans have an unreasonable disdain for Rose.

They just mad.

I dont even think he's that good defensively. I guess I've only watched him when he's played OKC this year, and it's possible that Westbrook is just a horrendous matchup for him, but he seems too small and slow to really defend on the ball.

Westbrook just seemed to destroy him. either blowing past him or bruising past him. Of course, Paul paid him back on the other end.

Yea they were discussing that a bit on realgm last night. They were pasting quotes from a hornets blog where fans were just ripping on Rose. I know I am saying this through Rose (pun intended) colored lenses but I gotta wonder how much of it is them feeling threatened that they might not have the unquestioned best PG in the NBA.

If the Cavs lose tonight, they will be mathematically eliminated from the Central race.

Cavs eliminated. Happy Valentine's day, Cleveland.

I don't get how it doesn't bother LeBron that he crippled his home town team.

He doesn't consider Cleveland his home town nor was he a Cavs fan growing up.
