Sloans legacy is the best coach in any pro sport to never have won a title. That ain't bad.

Also without putting much thought into it, probably best coach to never win a "coach of the year" award

I have a question for people that own a Bulls jersey. How do they fit? I wear an XL or XXL t-shirt, and both fit comfortably. How do the jersey sizes compare to t-shirt sizes? It is an Adidas replica jersey, if that helps.

Are you over the age of 12? If so, my advice is to not wear a basketball jersey anywhere.

Tell that to the hipsters who started wearing 90s basketball jerseys.

Stacey Augmon jerseys have never been so popular.

I think Sloan has got him. He lost to Jordan. Schotty lost to like denver teams that got smashed in the super bowl.

He had some amazing San Diego teams that lost on some fluky stuff in the playoffs

(I remember a game where they picked off a Brady pass on 4th down and subsequently fumbled it to give the Pats a 1st down to allow them to win, holy crap thats some bad luck)

I'll take Sloan over Schottenheimer. If it weren't for that Jordan guy, they would've won a couple of championships.

If I needed a football coach, I'd go with Marty. But if I needed a basketball coach, I'd definitely pick Sloan.

What a stupid trend. A bunch of James Murphy ball washers walking around Williamsburg wearing jerseys of players they don't even know.

What?! I've never seen a hipster wear a sports jersey. Pics or it's not true

That's just weird.

That 45 second sequence is so epic. Imagine being the most famous human on the planet, and then doing a quick drive to cut it to one. After that you strip the best power forward ever and then bury the game winner with your final shot in that uni to clinch your second personal three peat.

No one will ever top that kind of career arc.

I know I'm kind of an outsider in this discussion, but Jordan is essentially the entire reason that I like basketball. And growing up in Oklahoma, with no professional team worth a [expletive] nearby, I gravitated to the Bulls, obviously. Hell, they were basically a local team, since every game of theirs worth a damn was televised nationally anyway.

The only athlete to ever capture my attention like MJ did was Tyson.

There really aren't any athletes like that around right now, draw wise. Jordan had the power to make dumb white kids like me not only love basketball, but hate entire franchises (Knicks, Pacers, Jazz) that had literally nothing to do with my life outside of trying to stop MJ. Maybe Tiger used to have that power, but is there a singular NFL or MLB player that has that ability now? Maybe I was just young, I dont know.

griffey seemed like the only onethat could approach capturing hearts and minds lile mj did when I was a kid. A guy that only plays 20 times ayear or so behind a facemask cant have that kind of impact to an american kid or something.

i hate sounding cliched concerning michael, but yeah, he never ever lost. maybe it's easier to dominate in basketball and the best of sevens as a rule reflect the better team, but that man spoiled me. people talk lightly about someone willing their team to a win, but michael embodied it, he may as well have created that idea. he would never be denied.

if jordan never retires, i wonder if horace still leaves... horace didn't like MJ much but I think he might've stuck around if we were coming off four straight championships.

if he left, though, the 94-95 team wouldn't have won a title. they were too weak at PF. had he stayed, hard to say what those 95-98 teams would've been like with him instead of rodman.
