Nobody cares and they shouldn't because I'm just whining but my favorite football teams have now lost 5 games this year by 17 points combined. That's annoying.

 

Been there, done that. That sucks.

 

I'm glad Iowa lost today, but can you guys please expose MSU next week? Thanks.

 

Expose MSU as what?

 

A team taking advantage of a pretty pedestrian Big Ten schedule and not playing anyone OOC.

 

Like I said earlier, they just feel an awful lot like the Iowa squad from last season.

so what do they have to do to get your respect? They manhandled your Illini in the 2nd half last week...They pretty much dominated Wisconsin several weeks ago...They came back against a decent NU team today that was coming off a bye week

 

I think they will probably lose to Iowa next week, but I still think they are a top ten team. Mainly because I dont really think there is any great teams this year.

Kirk Ferentz is a really good coach but some time this coaching staff makes be hit my head. I can't believe that.

Both losses this year can be handed directly to special teams. A missed extra point, a botched field goal, a long kickoff return set up by a stupid offsides penalty and then the fake punt.

 

Oh well, lets ruin Michigan State's national championship hopes next week.

 

It's unreal. Average special teams this year and we're undefeated.

 

Stanzi and the offense are so much better than last year it's unreal. Yet the defense has regressed because of linebacker play and injuries and the special teams have been awful.

This has to be one of the worse years for special teams that I remember for Iowa. It's frustrating because it's been an area that I have always taken for granted for this team and in a year that could have been really special it's the thing that has already given us 2 losses.

I hope Bob Stoops whines about how unfair it was that the Sooners were ranked No. 1 in the BCS and it was a distraction. God that was the best win ever.

TCU is kind of getting screwed in the Boise talk. They haven't shown they're any better, and the schedules are roughly the same (CBS has their SOS coming into this weekend as 48 for Boise and 54 for TCU, but with TCU destroying a good Air Force team, that's likely to change). The future schedule looks better for Boise though. Current CBS #29 Nevada and #38 Hawaii are still on the schedule, while TCU doesn't play anybody but Utah ranked higher than #68 the rest of the way.

That will be a really fun game to watch. I know this is a different Oregon team, but Boise has beaten them the past two years.

Is there any chance Alabama does NOT repeat? They'll beat LSU. They'll win at home vs. Auburn. The East is no contest. Oregon's gonna lose to either USC or Oregon St. Michigan St. is going to lose to Iowa. Mizzou is going to lose to Nebraska next week. Boise and TCU won't get the respect.

Disagree. A mediocre (at best) Ole Miss team came close to beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. Auburn can and I think will beat them.
