Snyder was in the Colvin draft. And has been okay but nothing great (800 or so OPS)

Now, if you are talking Vitters for Porcello you might have a point.

you would?

Those are some pretty decent numbers for the ACC and the 17th round.

That's 4 prep arms in the first 15 rounds. I count 3 in the previous 4 years by Wilken (Huseby in 06, Acosta in 07 and Kirk in 09).

For potential redrafts, there's OF Keenyn Walker who is at a JC in Arizona. He was drafted out of a Utah HS last year and didn't sign.

Thanks, sounds like he comes from a damn good high school also. He was HS teammates with Rick Porcello

I want a corner IF or two before we get to the point where the only ones available are D-2 power studs who are minor league DHs who can rack up 100 Ks in shortseason.

I'm sure Soto and LaPage will break a .100 IsoP someday, let's just consider them defensive 3Bs.

Also, 8 HBP.

Pinckard has the highest ceiling of any of the Cubs draftees including Simpson.

That might be overstating it a bit, but where he's drafted or his numbers doesn't indicate how go he can be.

When BA does their tools, he'll be listed with the best FB.

Fitzgerald has a big, physical build that could still add more strength, and is a very good athlete for his size. His fastball was consistently in the 88-91 mph range during the summer and he complemented the pitch with a solid slider and pretty good changeup. Fitzgerald showed command of all three pitches and mixed them up with developing maturity

UK, can Pinkard start or is he strictly a reliever?
