All the ARam fanboys should go into hiding

oh shut up

Nope, don't think I will.

He's been the best Cubs for 7 years, and I like him as a player because of that. Why should I go into hiding?

Let's just skip to the accusations of group think and get it over with.

Boy the situational hitting in the bottom of that inning was [expletive] horrible. Put the bat on the ball Aramis. Good god.

I too think everyone should hate the Cubs' best offensive player over the last 4-5 years!

It's easy for me to stipulate he's been amazing in the past. This year, he looks like he has no clue, yet the prevailing theory around here has been he'll snap out of it soon, because he's in a contract year, or he's too good not to.

But people who think a guy who's been really good for 6-7 years is likely to bounce back from a really bad streak are fanboys and need to go into hiding?

Cant even tie up the game with no outs and a guy on 3rd. [expletive] this team

We don't have anybody who has a clue about fundamental baseball. We got a bunch of hackers, not enough hitters.

Tough to blame Castro for being over anxious but the Ramirez and Sota at bats were horrible.

I've got plenty of blame for Castro. Contreras wasn't pitching well at all and he went up there hacking at every pitch.

Ah well, close game. The Cubs played the best team in the NL down to the wire and split the mini-series. Get on the plane and start another winning streak tomorrow.

Can we bring up that thread where i was asking for Aram to be traded and some posters were saying i was dumb and that Aram was the one player you keep. God this guy is hot garbage. Still remember in spring training where he wouldn't start early or play in games and he said he'd be ready, well we're still waiting for him to arrive.

The Cubs have the 10th most strikeouts in the NL

Cubs showed some heart today fighting back, but you can't walk two guys in a tie ballgame and expect to win. Let's get another winning streak started tomorrow.

Sorry, Erik already said that game's over.

I will be in attendance the next 3 games, so we need to win them all. Last time the Cubs came to Arlington we only saw 1 win, but we did get to see Sammy's 600th HR.

He's 20. There was no way he wasn't going up there hacking.

Sure, let's treat ARam the same way we would a guy who has never played with the Cubs before.

Hell, why not?

6, 7 years of great production? To hell with you, you're crap now you bum!

Sure there was. He's demonstrated a number of excellent, patient AB's already in his short career. I'm not trashing the guy as a player; it was just a very, very bad AB.

I know you're not trashing the player but he hasn't had an at bat close to that magnitude.

Wait, there are seriously people looking to break out the "I told you so"s when they immediately and irrationally turned on Aramis after a small sample size?

Potential epic meltdown happening for the Reds. They went into the bottom of the 9th in Atlanta up 9-3, but Atlanta has scored 3 and has the bases loaded with Hayward up and no outs.

You're making everyone in here jealous.

Wow. I had stopped following that game. Thanks.

Dusty's boy Miguel Cairo with an error at third base.

Personally, I don't think it's one that should have that much "magnitude." It's not like he was coming up with any outs. Yeah, the Cubs need that run, but it's not like his back was against the wall when he stepped into the batter's box. He had a ton of room to work with what Contreras was pitching him. I have little doubt he'll take a lot away from this one.
