You have to think Matt Spencer will be moved to AAA at some point in the near future, if he continues to rake. Whether he has a position or not, he's probably got the most power of anyone in our system.

Great to see Vitters hitting this well since his promotion. Solid outing from Cashner obviously too. I figure he'll be moved up to the majors by the break, at the rate he's going.

Chris Huseby went 3-3 today down in EXST with a double and a walk. Yes, you read that correctly. No idea if he's going to try becoming a position player or if this was just a day to get him thinking about anything other than pitching.

Arizona Phil has the details for those of you who want to read about it.

According to his report the attendance for the game was 12.

I figured I'd put this quote here. This is Bruce talking about how the organizations sees Jackson (and also Cashner and Coleman):

The Cubs feel that if they do need another bullpen arm at the big-league level, Jackson could fill that role. They believe he has the stuff and the makeup to either start or relieve. It's not a demotion in any way, and Jackson always could go back to starting. You've seen reports about Cashner and/or Coleman possibly coming up to the big-league pen, but that's not going to happen. They feel Cashner needs innings and that Coleman is a starting pitcher. We'll see how it plays out.

It's very nice to see that they're not moving Jackson because of his questions about his ability. Confirming that Cashner is very unlikely to move to the bullpen though is probably the best news.
