So the question is: did Z go to the bullpen after the scoreless 8th with Marmol sure to be pulled in the bottom of the inning?

Quit boo'ing him morons

Well, at least they're booing a guy who struck out twice and GIDP twice. Could be worse.

Actually I was talking about them boo'ing Betancourt for throwing to 1st base to keep Castro close

Fans always boo when an opposing pitcher throws to first .... and I have no idea why.

Never understood it either, it really is ignorant

Because it slows down the game and usually happens when their team is rallying

I know it won't happen, but I would love for the Cubs to skirt the rules and place Lee and ARam in the 15 day DL with injuries, and the Cubs call up two players who might actually be productive. I think the Cubs will be alright with Nady at first and Baker at 3rd and the Cubs bringing up two players that can't be worse then the players who are currently manning the "power corners" of this infield.

That is not heartfelt booing, just light-hearted fun at the ballpark. Kinda like when opposing manager comes out to argue a call, or opposing team takes too much time blabbing on the mound. Not serious.

I think most know the pitcher has to employ his strategy. It's an excuse to boo the opposing team, so they boo. I've got no problem with it

Time for a Soto walk-off, but Nady will probably bat for Marmol instead

:-)) This idiot manager is just too predictable, I"m shocked he wasn't rewarded with a start tonight for the game winner yesterday

I only boo when the pitcher is obviously stalling and throws over there 3 or 4 times before throwing the next pitch.

Extra innings! Free baseball isn't very fun when it is this bad.

In March I was debating getting the MLB.tv package again this year.

Glad I saved my hundred bucks.

Now if you want serious heartfelt booing... bring Hendry in to be the guest conductor.

Did anyone see How I Met Your Mother tonight? The whole episode talked about baggage everyone carries in life. At the end, they showed people walking down a busy street carrying their imaginary baggage, each one labeled on the suitcase what that baggage was. Right in the middle, some guy walked by with probably the biggest suitcase of them all and on it the suitcase it said "Cubs fan".

ha ha HA.
