WGN-HD FINALLY Coming to DirecTV!

So is WGN HD actually any good or is it relatively just as crappy as their Std. Def. output?

 

I thought it was very good quality. I can't believe that WGN HD was not on Direc TV until now. What was the holdup?

 

it probably has to do with the fact that there's nothing on wgn worth watching in hd other than the cubs

 

The girl that co-hosts their crappy movie of the week is nice. Of course she's on on maybe for 6 minutes over a two hour period.

Worked fine for me. It was gorgeous - this was the first WGN game I'd been around for since the HD activation.

Maybe part of it was just the back-to-back wins, but seeing it in HD just made me feel at peace with the cubs a little bit. like if they're going to suck, i'm not watching it in SD. But i can watch them suck in beautiful HD.

Do you see it when you go to edit your favorites? If it's not in that list, maybe your software is too old. Try restarting the receiver and typing "02468" with your remote when it starts back up. That will force a software download and give you a 45 minute break from watching television.
