and in the end, you probably want your top player to believe he can do it on his own, anyway.

You do if your top player is LeBron, Kobe, or Wade. Rose is not the type of player who will be the man on a championship winning team. He is a great player, but not good enough to do that.

Welp, he might as well give up now. Already peaked at 21.

i'm gonna miss big brad's gang signs after he knocks down a big 3

Brad Miller always struck me as being my dad if my dad went insane and decided he wanted to be an NBA player.

Though the hated billboard is said to typically reappear as James' haunting likeness, some have seen other disturbing images. Last Thursday when the mural was attached to four 1,000-pound weights and forcibly sunk in the Cuyahoga River, commuters driving into the city reported seeing in its place a 10-story-tall photograph of John Elway leading Denver to victory over the Browns in the 1987 AFC Championship game. Others saw a still image of Michael Jordan jumping into the air and pumping his fist after his game-winning shot over Craig Ehlo. Many pedestrians, meanwhile, reported seeing a 100-foot banner of Earnest Byner's 1988 fumble on the three-yard line.

An attempt to demolish the building altogether proved futile, as it was mysteriously replaced the following day by the completely new 15-story Art Modell Public Library.

"I would like to assure the citizens of Cleveland that we are doing everything in our power to rid our city of the LeBron James mural," Cleveland mayor Frank Jackson said Thursday, adding that a priest from Bulgaria would be brought to the city next week to exorcise the banner. "That being said, if you gouge your eyes out like I did, you can't see the image."

not really bulls related, but ridiculously amusing.

you have no idea where Rose will go from here. He's shown great signs of continued development the short time he's played in the NBA.

I think it's pretty clear he won't be a top 5 player like LBJ, Kobe and Wade. But I'm also pretty confident he will be good enough to be "the man" on a championship winning team.

He's not loud, boistrous, or an egomaniacal jerk. He's also shown solid maturity for his age, unlike Lebron.

You'll have to excuse me, but I'm not going to count those qualities against him at the ripe old age of 21 until I see what develops in the coming years.

If he has that jump shot down like he says (I'm skeptical until I see it) he may be.

Last season, Rose was the something like the best PG in the league at shooting inside the arc.

and I'm sure Larry and Magic feel the same way. Great players have that competitive drive. Lebron doesn't.

You still want him to believe he is. Especially if you don't have anybody better
