So Noah is getting a lot of love during this. (Which he should). But I was wondering, where do you rank Noah among Eastern Confrence centers right now?

richard jefferson just opted out of his 15 mil with the spurs

lollllll

lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Is this a joke? Will he even get half that?

Wow, great move for the Spurs.

They must have pics of him naked ,playing golf with Satan.

my first guess would be that they had a sit-down with his ex-fiance and discovered the real reason that they didn't end up getting married.

In my mind he's behind Howard (alone on the 1st tier) and Bogat (alone on the second tier), but on the third tier with Lopez and Horford.

Because he's gay?

that's the word on the street
And we all know what some people think of RJ that could have led to the breakup. I have to credit the NY Post writer for having the balls to even ask him about it:

[Jefferson] insisted a rumor he’s gay had nothing to do with the breakup.

“I’m not gay,” Jefferson said. “That couldn’t be any further from the truth. I have nothing to hide.”

exactly.

if you believe the media, then lebron has gone from leaning towards chicago to miami to cleveland in a matter of a week.

i think it's likely that lebron has had a heavy favorite in his mind for a while now, and nobody knows who it is. i think it's naive to think this is a decision that he hasn't been giving heavy consideration for years.

40% chicago

30% cleveland

20% miami

10% nj/ny

that's how i feel about it right now. but like i said, this means nothing. we have no clue wtf is going on. this isn't even an informed prediction. we're all just spinning our wheels.

it's fun though

"What about the time you looked at counselor mackey's penis in the men's locker room!"

"I WAS JUST COMPARING SIZE!"

"for seven minutes? And what about the time you masturbated to the men's 100-meter swimming relay at the Olympics?!"

apparently byron scott is going to the cavs.

would he accept that job if he didn't know lebron was coming back?

If Scott is taking Cleveland job, Im thinking it says more about either Phil Jackson is staying in LA, or Byron has been told Brian Shaw will get the LA job if Phil leaves. Im not sure Byron has anything to do with Lebron.

Even though tomorrow is July 1st, I'm fully expecting all the big FA's to drag this out as long as possible

Not a chance. We'll know where all the big guys are going by Saturday.

Scott's negotiations with Cleveland have hit a snag.

I don't think so. THEY may know where they want to go, but they're going to relish in every single minute of media coverage they get about it. In fact, David Stern probably wants them to string it out to keep the NBA as the lead story every night

Yeah the only one I see being public by Saturday is Wade staying in MIA

I definitely could see Wade bailing on MIA if they can't land LeBron or Bosh.

Dwyane Wade has told two associates that he is now focused on recruiting a big such as Chris Bosh, Amar'e Stoudemire or Carlos Boozer, which effectively ends his attempt to bring in LeBron James.

The Raptors have discussed a sign-and-trade involving Chris Bosh with as many as eight teams.

Bryan Colangelo, however, has ruled out bringing back the expensive contract of Bulls forward Luol Deng.

98 minutes until this is all over.

2 months ago I thought the Bulls had no chance to get LeBron. Now that they do have a chance I am actually much more nervous about this whole thing. Not getting LeBron would be so disappointing now.

I hate how the wiretap on realgm always puts stories into their own words. That's not what the tweet even said.

I'm not sure Wade not recruiting Lebron any more is great news for us. The only private guarantee Lebron would make at this point would be that's he's resigning in Cleveland--there are too many unknowns (and potential) about the Bulls to say he's definitely coming here. And if Chicago is still in the picture I can't imagine Wade giving up on him.
