I agree there is literally not one guy on this team who should ever be straight stealing. A hit and run here and there is fine with me, but straight steals with the players we have is just giving up outs.

When they showed the replay from the 3rd base line camera, Theriot is going back to 2nd and then breaks after the throw. Once he took the last step toward 2nd base, he should have just stayed.

Marmol has only pitched in two games this year and we have an off day tomorrow so yeah this is a great opportunity to get him work. If he didn't pitch today he would have at the minimum 4 days in-between outings.
