I haven't been a baseball fan for a long time.. But I remember when we drafted Colvin.. and to see him hit his first HR in the majors is really cool.

I don't get the cynicism regarding Colvin. Maybe he's a future starter and maybe he isn't, but let's enjoy the hysteria while it lasts. It's nice to finally have some promising young position players.

Frankly, it'll be nice to have a decent 4th OF who won't be horrible when the inevitable Soriano injuries/slumps occur.

I expect Colvin to be horrible when it all evens out. Sub .300 OBP, imo

Tyler Colvin at the moment is my favorite Cub. This says more about the other members of the team than it does Tyler Colvin.
