Ok, we're all frustrated. Let's talk about something besides the game. What are your favorite Cubs hats to wear around, whether it be at the ball game or not?

There's only one hat I really wear. It used to be pretty popular but I think I've seen it less and less lately. I've had it for quite a few years now, and I bring it on just about every trip whether I intend to wear it or not. It's also been thrown on the ground... a ton.

I have an old (pre-2007) BP cap that I bought in Chicago back in 2006. It's the only Cubs cap I wear regularly, and God willing I'll give it to my son someday when it's all ratty and old.

Difficult to beat the look of the onfield cap if you don't mind the high crown. Stylish, sweat-absorbent and plenty of room inside for when you're heading out but your hair's doing all blaaaaah 'cuz you were taking a nap beforehand.

I always liked this model, particularly in the summer. Stretch-fit, with a mesh back that lets your head breathe a bit. I'm also always partial to that particular angry bear-face logo.

One's opinions of the aesthetics aside, the previous and current batting practice hats are good for the same reason, minus the mesh back. I have found they make my head itch after a prolonged period of wear, though.

And finally, nothing says "day in the sun" like the old standby, the Cubs bucket hat. Light, comfortable and great at keeping the sun off of your face and neck.

This is my hat as well, it's the best.

Although I do love that 1914 logo. When it's time for another one, that'll probably have to be the logo.

This is also my favorite.

I was about to buy this hat but there's one thing I don't like about it: It looks like the bear has a head of a bird. Sharp beak and pointy ears. Other than that, I love that hat. The 1914 printed on the back, comfortable, good material.

I like that. Where can I get one?

I love the classic on field hat but hate the high crown, so I cut out those fibers and now it's much more form fitting. I also have last year's BP hat as sort of a knock-around hat. It's comfortable and I never hated it's look like others.

Not sure if this is his exact version, but it's gotta be close.

I like it, I just wish the Bear didn't have such a pointy mouth.. it looks like a beak.

I guess I'll get it though from my local Lids.

I have the typical blue hat with the red C. I also have one like the one Truffle posted, only mine is navy blue and has less of that worn look to it.

What about shirts? While at Spring Training I got a Cubs shirt. I hadn't gotten one in a long time, and I was cold in my seat in the shade (I might be the only person to go to ST and be cold).

I saw this shirt and loved it:

It's really comfortable and soft.

I have like two dozen Cubs shirts and three Cubs hoodies. I don't really wear any one shirt much more than the other. But I do have a Ron Santo jersey that I wear on occasion.

Oh man, that shirt's great. I'm assuming it's available most everywhere one would expect (totally planning on a "let me google that for you" response)?

I googled to find the pic of that shirt, and it looks like you can get it on Amazon.

The brand is Red Jacket.

I've seen this hat and really like it because it doesn't look stupid like those new "fashion" hats and it has the '84 old school feel to it. Don't know how I feel about dropping $35 on it, though.
