this is why they shouldn't allow timeouts to be called in the last minute. that's a thousand times better than if there's three commercials mixed in.

There is a halfway decent chance the Big Ten gets a Final Four team.

Wrong thread. Oh wait you mean in this one, I imagine either OSU or MSU goes from the midwest.

Should be a Big Ten regional final unless someone pulls an upset. I don't think UT matches up very well with Ohio State.

Wow, having picked MSU to win that game shot my bracket up a ton, must have been an unpopular pick

I filled one out at work and picker KU out to MSU just because everyone else had KU winning it all. So if OSU wins it all I'll look like a genius.

I really wish WVU had just shot the lights out or beat us to a ton of rebounds instead of losing like this, under a barrage of rimmed out jumpers and duffed bunnies.

State wins without Lucas. Is there any doubt that he is the best coach in the world right now?

Izzo has always been right at the top of my list. Even when MSU doesn't seem that impressive they seem to find a way to make it deep in the tourney.

Yep, imagine if he was at a blueblood school where he could get any player he wanted?

How do you guys think UNI matches up with Mich. St? I'm not sure how I feel about it, but it should be a good game. Having Lucas out would be huge for UNI, but I have to think he'll find a way to play if at all possible.

Izzo is the reason I never let myself take MSU to go out before round 3 unless there's a really, really good reason.

Mizzou attempting to set a record for most rimmed out shots and putback misses in one half.

Ramsey's putbacks and the missed free throws are the difference. Tough loss because they could have pulled it out. I said coming in that I would be happy with a win over Clemson and a close loss to WVU. I'm still happy, but I'm left thinking we should have won the game and then would have had a real shot at the Elite Eight. Oh well. Team looks good for the near future. I thought English looked real hot early on, but Mizzou didn't seem to work the ball around enough to find the open 3 in the second half. Wonder what would have happened if Safford was on the court.

Xavier's taking it to Pitt.

I'm not sure how Pitt racked up so many wins - they haven't looked all that impressive to me when I watch them. Taking Xavier in that game was a pretty easy pick for me.

These white guys (besides Kramer) are brand-new to me for Purdue.

Byrd was a 4-Star and is looking competent out there.

I don't usually bitch about the officials. Seriously though, zero free throw attempts for Purdue in the first half?

Apparently you can run into a planted defender and raise your elbow and not have a foul called. I really don't like these refs. They call ticky tact crap and then allow that to go uncalled. Call it consistently.

I'm a big fan of refs that don't necessarily call charge or block every single time bodies collide in the paint. That said, if you're going to do that then you shouldn't call some of the touch fouls I've seen called.

Exactly. Either call it close (which I hate) or don't. Stop waffling.

On a side note Texas A&M is showing NBA teams why JaJuan isn't ready for the pros.

Anytime Xavier wants to wake up would be great.

A&M holding on in spite of themselves. They're making some poor decisions, especially in the low post.
