Crazy Home/Road split for PSU record-wise

Home: 12-4

Road: 1-7

Only road win was @IU

I don't get how you guys don't do better than you do? Maybe it's because you play us so well, but it seems like you should be easily above .500.

Lost some early non conference games, but only playing 5 guys, you will have some close losses in a deep league. But they are competitive pretty much every nite now. Good win vs. Minny tonight.

Jeff Brooks missed some time too, that slowed momentum.

Their only home conference loss was a 4 point loss to Michigan.

Meanwhile, on the road, they're getting totally skunked.

No idea what will happen in the conference tourney. Probably skunked

You didn't get skunked in West Lafayette.

Holy [expletive]. Is DePaul going to win a Big East game?

@Purdue and @OSU were easily their best road efforts.

They've been getting closer and closer to finally getting that win over the last few weeks. Good to see them finally get it.

Cleveland Melvin's a damn good player already.

Why can I still not view this site on a computer?

Oh and go to hell Northwestern

I had to clear all my internet history/cookies, etc. to get it to start loading again properly.

Holy [expletive].

2-18 for Michigan? Yep they're definitely not missing anything on Saturday.

ONLY MY TEAMS

Seriously though, thank god. Just win at home against Iowa and Indiana and everything's fine.

That might get us in, but everything is certainly not fine.

LOL, I never noticed until someone here mentioned it, but the Purdue crowd does boo literally every single foul on the Boilers.

I guess they just have a "how to be a douchebag at college basketball games" course at Purdue, amiright? I mean, let's forget for a second that it's different students every single year. They ALWAYS boo bad calls!

Yeah, because student turnover means a fresh slate every few years, huh? It's good college students don't emulate what others do, and pass behavior on. Courses like that Cameron Crazies refresher course at Duke must have a huge enrollment every year to keep tradition going, since that student turnover kills it all the time.

Anyway, I was just making an observation. And it wasn't the bad calls, it was all the calls, or damn near.

It's one thing for students to pick up traditions, chants, etc. It's quite another for them to all believe non-fouls are fouls (or vise versa).

Did you guys ever stop to think that maybe the select few people that say Purdue reacts to foul calls more than other schools are just... wrong? To me, that seems a bit more feasible. I count like 4 people on here that have a clear bias against Purdue that say that. Never heard it before here.

The Illinois fans have a clear bias against Purdue?

I never said that, but I think comments like this show that certain posters here are.

goodbye purdue, don't lose in the first or second round again and i hope a two star prospect from champaign does a great job for you

i'm still glad that they didn't split the conference up into divisions and put iu and pu in the same one, that would have been really unfair.

[expletive] villanova. Depaul was up 3 with 10 seconds left and nova hit a desperation 3 to take it to ot. Where depaul is now back to being depaul.

And depaul loses in OT. If only villanova missed that 35 foot desperation 3 depaul could beaten a real live ranked team. In the past few weeks depaul lost to Louisville by 4 Cincinnati by 3, west Virginia by 2 and now villanova by 2. Painful for those guys.

West Virginia, 33 percent 3-point shooters for the season, shoots nearly 50 percent from long range today. That and your expectedly atrocious home reffing job from Tim Higgins adds up to no chance for Notre Dame. Gotta beat UConn on the road to get a 2 seed now.
