I don't think you know what "literally" means.

You realize there is something called a mental age and Bradley is literally still a 10-year old temper tantrum prone kid in that respect.

The word you should have used is "figuratively". It's ok to admit mistakes.

I didn't make a mistake you just took it wrong. It's obvious he is physically not a 10-year old anymore making it pretty obvious what I was talking about his mental age. Sorry next time I'll explain it clear as day so you don't get confused.

A) Still used the word incorrectly.

B) I'd like to know what file you saw that diagnosed his "mental age". I am guessing Pelosi asked you not to reveal that though.

In my two (brief) interctions with him, he was more than a capable, functioning adult.

Maybe after you win the Nobel prize for inventing the literal mental age deducing machine.

As for the rest of us simpletons, we'll have to use chronology.

Why is it such a big deal if he used figuratively incorrectly? Any person reading his post can figure out what he was trying to say.

Not a big deal, just a sign of ignorance. I was pointing out an error, so he could learn and improve. He tried to defend it, I responded.

Edit:

Mineaswell move on, their are bigger issues

Fair enough.

Based on Bradley's behavior so far in Seattle and Byrd's early performance, I'm starting to like the Bradley/Silva trade a bit more everyday.

I do hope that Bradley eventually settles down and learns some maturity. The past year of so, his antics have overshadowed his baseball abilities, which were above average at some point.

Batting .045 after todays game. 1-22

you just lovvvveee to see him fail, don't you.

Who doesn't? At this point he is the only person on the planet outside of his mother and the Mariners rooting for himself to succeed.

not that garwilly needs defending, but the first one is a typo missing 1 letter. much different than not knowing what literally means and defending your incorrect usage.

the second was sarcasm. if you haven't seen "mineaswell" in a Cubbiebum post yet, you haven't been paying much attention.

It doesn't matter. If you are going to run around being the grammar police, then make sure you own posts are correct, even typos. There's no need to run around correcting every one around here. Like the other guy said, everyone knew what he meant when he typed literally.

What's the deal with "mineaswell"? I just figured it was one of those things like southerners saying "welp" instead of welt. Or "flicked off" instead of "flipped off".

We'll see if Silva can keep pitching decently. It's not a surprise to me that Byrd has been doing well, but Silva I did not expect. It's so early though, I'm still bracing for bad Silva to show up.

Plain and Simple: Cubs win in the Byrd for Bradley trade (using Mariner money). Anything positive out of Silva makes it really one sided.

Mariners fans probably aren't as miserable as Cubs fans, and actually want the guy to do well.

I do too. Rooting against him seems very strange to me.

For what it's worth, I'd like to see him succeed as well. But he's still a 10 year old emotionally.

I don't know why anyone would want him to succeed. He's a giant [expletive]. People like that don't deserve success. He's already gotten farther and wealthier in life than he should have.
