Looks like the Packers will be heading back to Arizona for the Wild Card round.

Well, that makes tonights game kind of interesting. I wonder what kind of trickery both teams will try to throw out there to avoid giving either team the advantage next week. If any at all.

I hope the Packer hand to ball off to Ahman Green every play.

I was hoping we would run the Flynn-Cat 10 straight times to open the game off

So much for that Favre last season swoon.

He's like 75% completion rate for 600 yards and 5 TD's and 0 INT's in the last 4 quarters. Granted it's against the Bears and a Giants team that's thrown in the towel but still not the numbers of a guy wearing down in December/January. Vikings have scored 61 points in the last 4 quarters.

Also, the Colts are getting their butts kicked so far, too.

Again with the disclaimer of the competition...

Vikings offense in 2nd half at the Bears and 1st half vs. Giants:

61 points

684 yards

41 first downs

Tom Coughlin is going to kill someone when they get back to NY. He has the quiet rage building right now.

4:41 left in the 3rd and the Giants still don't have 100 yards. The Vikings have 408.

It's crazy because it's not true. I know the undefeated 1972 Dolphins had two, I think there was a Steelers team that had two in Harris' days and I know Vick and Dunn did it in 2006. Probably a couple others.

Ah just noticed it was 1,100 not 1,000 ](*,) . It may be true then.

1,100, not 1,000

Vick has never had more than 1,100

In 1972 Morris had 1,000.

No, the 1972 Dolphins did not. Csonka had 1117 but Morris only had 1000. As for the 06 Falcons, Dunn had 1140 but Vick only had 1039.

You're wrong.

what the hell happened to Pat White. These punks won't show a replay

Helmet to helmet with Ike Taylor. White went down immediately and wasn't moving for a bit but then moved one of his legs and both his hands were moving. Definitely a neck injury.

1,100, not 1,000

I was just posting that I noticed my mistake. Yeah they are probably the first then.

As far as the rushing stats this year its not really that crazy. There is CJ going for 2,000 and this Carolina thing. Other than that it is normal or below normal on a individual rusher perspective. The two-back system is changing the individual rushing stats. A couple years ago I would have said 1,300+ is a good season for a RB. Now 800+ in a two-back system is a good season.

...yeah.

Anyway, Heading to the 4th, it's now 44-0 Vikings. Favre is over 300 with 4 TD now. Peterson is still only at 53 yards but he's done it on only 9 carries.

What a freaking beatdown.

Assuming Pit wins:

Baltimore and NY still control their fates later:

If either one loses, Pitt is in.

If both lose, Denver is also in (their outcome is meaningless).

Right?
