Peyton is 12 for 12 passing so far in the first half tonight. The Colts have had the ball 3 times and have scored 3 TDs.

Jags can't stop them.

For full disclosure, one of the TDs was a kick off return, and the Jags have yet to be forced to punt either.

This is a good point on the kickoff return. It had slipped my mind.

And yeah, the Colts aren't giving a clinic on defense either. The Peyton pick on Indy's opening drive helped my fantasy team, though.

Good math skills.

better than the announcer's

Ah, figured that must be why you posted that. I've got it on mute, what did they say?

He repeatedly said it was a 4 point game, which I thought was pretty funny.

That's awesome.

Colts play with fire and again avoid getting burned. Not going to happen when they get to the playoffs.

You realize that even if they had lost half of their close games, they'd still be the top team in the AFC?

But his 4 TDs, with one of them to Collie, helped my team a heck of a lot more. :P

This is true. I still have CJ to counter that, though. :D

Which hopefully won't be much of a counter. :p

The 2006-07 Colts played with a lot of fire. I think that worked out pretty well.

The 2006-07 Colts got Bob Sanders back before the playoffs and suddenly had a defense again. You think they win that Ravens crapfest without him?

Looks like the Panthers have a shot at 2 Sunday Night Football humiliations in 3 weeks if the Saints get to 15-0.

Multiple sources around the NFC South and the NFL say there is a strong chance the Saints’ final regular-season game, which is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start in Carolina, could be “flexed’’ to a Sunday night game, which will be the final game of the season for the entire NFL because there is no Monday night game that week.

Currently, the Giants and Redskins are scheduled for the Sunday night time slot. But the sources say the league is looking strongly at putting the Saints in prime time, if they remain undefeated and the league rules about flexing allow a six-day window for changing the final game. Some exploration into the logistics into a change already has been done. In other weeks, decisions about flexing a game must be made at least 12 days out.

That article is all kinds of fail.

1) Giants and Skins play this week...on Monday night

2) In week 17, the Giants are playing the Vikings at 1pm. The Skins are playing the Chargers at 4:15pm. There's not currently a Week 17 primetime game scheduled.

Yeah what the hell? I was just going to post that. How do you eff that up that badly?

No team contains Chris Johnson.

So this current 14-0, +146 point differential, 5th ranked defense Colts team is going to lose in the playoffs because the 2006 12-4, +67 point differential, 23rd ranked defense Colts team might not have won one of their playoff games without Bob Sanders?

My point is when the 06 Colts 'played with fire' they became a better team in the playoffs because they got their best defensive player back. That isn't going to happen this year which makes the comparison invalid.

Brees was starting to run away with the MVP, but it looks like Manning's going to make him work for it.

I had Manning ahead of Brees before this game and I still do after.

The premise was ridiculous to begin with. Saying that a 14-0 will lose in the playoffs because they've almost lost some games is just kind of stupid. I mean, there are playoff teams, believe it or not, that haven't even won all their games, let alone almost losing some games.

I think he's more valuable to his team, but Brees is having the better season by a decent margin. They're both stupid good, so there's not really a bad choice.

How? There is no logical argument for this at all. They both lead undefeated teams and Brees beats him in every stat save 80 fewer yards (on a lot less attempts though).

The only people that support Manning support him because he has an undefeated and is Manning. Sorry but this year there is another who has an undefeated team and doing better in practically every statistical category.

They are allowing teams to take a lead going into the fourth quarter a lot. That is not a good quality to have heading into the playoffs. The Colts have trailed or been tied going into the fourth quarter 5 times this season with a couple of those games the Colts needing 21 points in the fourth to win. You can keep doing that all you want but it will comeback to bite you eventually.
