Houston needs to knock it off. They have 73 points at the start of the 4th qtr.

Houston has a history of running up the score. Back in the Andre Ware days they hung 95 on post death penalty SMU. Ended up covering a 59 point spread by 15 points, and they won 6 games by 45+ that year.

Speaking as someone whose high school basketball team (that I was on, but injured for) lost a game 108 to 12, I'm fine with teams doing that.

This is the worst [expletive] defense I've seen in my [expletive] life as a football fan. They can't even suck right. God forbid you let Gerhart score so we can have a minute to score back.

Wow. ND just let him in. I guess Charlie accepts just how bad their defense is.

I'm shocked Stanford would run the ball in that situation. Just put the ball in the middle of the field and kick the extra point as time expires. They're still very likely to win, but I wouldn't want to have to defend against these receivers for even less than a minute. Too bad that ND didn't let them score the previous play after he broke through and saved their second timeout.

Better than letting them kick an extra point as time expires to win. Unless Stanford really sucks at kicking

I'll be shocked if ND runs anything other than 40 yard lobs up to Tate and Floyd here.

Yeah I was surprised Stanford did not do that. They could have ran the clock down and won as time expired.

And now Tate is killing Stanford again, lol. I like Harbaugh but man, why even give ND a chance here?

Same game every [expletive] week.

Every [expletive] week.

The ONE time we need the offensive line to step the [expletive] up and block somebody. 3 1/2 quarters they're a machine on the line and the last 2 drives they stop blocking. I seriously can't [expletive] believe this anymore.

Go home Charlie.

Mark Richt just got a gatorade bath and exploded at his players for doing it with still a minute left. Started screaming at them. That's gonna be on youtube in 3...2..

Wow just one soul-crushing defeat after another for ND.

I still think McCoy will get the Heisman, but Gerhart is fun to watch.

IMO, Gerhart is in a wrong team, wrong conference to win the Heisman. He should get serious consideration for the Heisman, but since his regular season is done, and McCoy/Ingram (who will play in the SECCG, BTW) Tebow all have one game left. People are simply going to forget about Gerhart after next Saturday when McCoy or Ingram (yes, Ingram in still in, contrary to all the Debbbie Downers) locks up the award in their respective conference championship games. IMO, the only way Gerhart wins it is if both Ingram and McCoy have poor performances.

With that said, I expect McCoy to get it, and I fine with it as I prefer the crystal football trophy at the end of the season.

Fantastic win by Tennessee today. 30-24 in overtime over Kentucky to extend the winning streak to 25 games. Probably the best thing about the game is that senior workhorse running back Montario Hardesty got the winning score on a 20-yard run on third down in overtime. Hardesty finished with 36 carries for 179 yards and three touchdowns. All career highs.

I didn't get to watch the game, but Kentucky's a solid team. Randall Cobb is a really nice player and Morgan Newton has some potential. They very well could snap the streak next season. They certainly almost did this year.

That said, a 7-5 season and a likely Outback Bowl appearance is quite nice for Lane's first year. Not sure who we'll play (either Wisconsin or Northwestern, I guess?), but a win would obviously be very nice.

Dear UCLA,

Bend over.

Pac-10 Refs

I hope this will be talked about as much as Harbaugh going for 50. It won't.

Glad UCLA wants to fight these cheap assholes. [expletive] Carroll.

What's your problem?

Petey showing his classless colors.

Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh trying to out-douche each other is the most intriguing race in the Pac-10 this season.

This probably helps UCLA more in the long term.

Pete Carroll is a special type of douche. Whines to the fullest when he's getting his ass kicked and then does [expletive] like this.
