Carter hasn't missed significant time in years. Personally I'm less sold on Garnett, Manu, and Shaq staying healthy. Maybe even Kobe who has a lot of miles on him at this point.

Exactly. All the top teams have key players who get hurt a lot. VC is one of the least hurt among them. He has played in at least 73 games in every year starting in 03-04. Garnett has been banged up more and more every year and his performance has declined along with it. Shaq has never been a healthy guy even going back to his last year in Orlando. Duncan and Ginobli are has injury prone as any star not named Arenas.

The only team without major injury issues is L.A. but they still have Bynum to worry about as well as whether or not Artest will be OK with playing third fiddle in the offense and mainly just be a defender.

I think Ron will be fine because I think the Lakers will be a 55-60 win team and he really wants to win a championship and knows that he can't go nuts if he wants a chance at it.

I'm more worried about how he'll act after he gets a title (if the Lakers do win another one) or if the Lakers don't win one in the next two or three years since he's on a five-year deal.

I agree but it is still a concern just as the injuries are to star players.

I'm currently in my hotel room, about 20 feet from the Ford Center and I'm ready to watch the Thunder beat the hell out of the Kings (or lose in a close one)

When do you go back to the Thunder avatar?

Magic lead by 25 against Philly. I should probably just accept the fact that they have the best chance out of all my teams for a championship and it will probably stay that way for quite some time.

My 2nd fav team, the Toranto Raptors just knocked off the Cavs. Cavs are 0-2.

Andrea Bargnani had 28. Bosh had 21-16.

LeBron had a off game..... and he still had a triple double.

Other scores..

The Bobcats scored 59 points tonight. Wallace had 10 to "lead the way"

DJ Augustin is terrible as well.

imb! is probably blowing a load right now with OKC about to be 1-0

Jeff Green has 24-8-2, nice.

Brook Lopez also having a great night for the NJN.

27 points 15 boards 4 ast. 5 blocks

My thunder just dominated the kings. I know it's the kings, but it's good to see. It nice that we look like we have a good defense this year, we held kevin martin to 5-19 shooting. Sefelosha is a beast on the defensive end.

Durant: 25 pts 11 rbs

Green: 24pts 8 rbs

Westbrook: 14 pts 13 asts 7 rbs

Our big three had a good first game. Hopefully a sign of things to come. Kristic had 20 and our first round pick, harden, didn't miss a shot

The Wolves just came back from down 19, to get a buzzer beater from Damien Wilkins (WHO?) to knock off the Nets at home.

You think Damien Wilkins is a who? You may have heard of his dad, Dominique AKA The human highlight reel.

he played for the thunder last year. he's not very good.

Man, that game was a blast. I know the Kings are miserable, but Westbrook went beast mode tonight. 13 assists, 2 turnovers and at least 5 more assists that were blown by Krstic and Thomas.

Durant's shot was off and he went for a double-double. Just good stuff all around, considering I didn't see a regular season win in person last year

Never heard of him. Is he related to Gerald AKA The Jordan Stopper?

DeJuan Blair with a good first game.

14 points on 7 for 10 shooting

11 rebounds (5 offensive)

I was going bazerk during the draft that he kept falling. Leave it to the Spurs to once again grab a player in a spot well below his value. He and Dice are one of the main reasons I have them ahead of the Lakers.

Pistons looked solid defensively tonight, unfortunately they were playing the Grizz. They'll be able to hang offensively, interior and defense is what will probably keep them under 45 wins. We'll see what they look like Friday night against imb's squad.

Damien is Dom's nephew, btw. Gerald Wilkins is Damien's father.

Don't forget Richard Jefferson. I think Jefferson acquistion was the best and most underrated move of the past offseason. As long as Duncan/Parker are healthy they are on par with the Lakers out West.

Hahha, I'm an idiot, thought he said that Gerald Wilkins was Dominique's father, which would have been very interesting.
