it sucks that they gave him a job because he knows ratface.

He's actually pretty good on-air, but please don't let your blind hatred of K get in the way of reality. Carry on.

His blind hatred, or your blind loyalty to K? Seems like a toss up

Please find one post where I have shown loyalty to K.

That's not true. My close friends at Duke authored this column in the Duke student newspaper (and I've posted this before):

Liking Duke basketball and liking Coach K are two different things to me.

I don't see the point in bringing it up in the first place like it has anything to do with how well he or the Bulls play.

I didn't bring up Rose's intelligence, somebody else said he was too smart to crash a motorcycle and end his career. I'm well aware that it has nothing to do with on-court performance, one of the reasons Garnett went pro out of high school was because he couldn't qualify.

Kevin Garnett shouldn't have spent a second in college even if he had a 4.0 and a 1600 on his SATs.

It's easy to say that in retrospect, but who was the last guy to go to the NBA from high school before Garnett? Moses Malone?

Well yes, I think retrospectively, it's very easy to conclude that the majority of players who jumped from high school to the NBA made the right decision. The track record is quite good. Even the guys who were disappointments (Chandler, Curry types) have made crap loads of money.

There are not 3 human beings who have made more money playing basketball than Kevin Garnett.

Shaq has made more purely on salary.

MJ's endorsements easily make him the top earner.

Kobe's probably had enough endorsements to make up the gap in salary with Garnett.

Well I was talking purely about salary. Only Shaq has made more on that and Garnett will match him by the time his current deal is up (close to $300 million).

Not sure what Garnett grossed through endorsements but he was very marketable for awhile. Obviously he'll be passed by Kobe, James, etc. in time.

This is a good time to remind people that NBA.com has free audio feeds of every game, so you can listen to Swirsky and Wennington. Also, if you're in the CSN-Chicago area but can't get to a TV, Bulls.com has an available Web stream of the CSN feed.

Good start.

Noah is a god damned beast out there. Hopefully he doesn't hit a wall after playing so many minutes last night.

If we can get this much production out of Noah, I'll gladly get beat up by both Paxson and Forman if we can have Noah playing 35 min. a night.

I'd just like to say that those deadline trades totally ruined this team's chances of making the playoffs and they'll be totally unattractive to any potential free agents out there. Rose and Noah obviously can't carry the team to any extent whatsoever.

that is all.

Rose and Noah are the core. Give those guys a big-time scorer in the offseason and make a couple of nice other moves and this team can definitely contend next year.

I hope the Bulls play really well against Cleveland. I'd love to at least steal a game.

Yes, clearly the trades did nothing to diminish the quality of the team because the Bulls proved they were just as good by getting in by the narrowest possible margin when they were in contention for a 5th seed just before the trades.

In fact it was the trades that made the Raptors go into the tank at the same time the Bulls did to keep them within striking distance. Also, Salmons didn't make the Bucks better at all. Flip is actually better and Warrick isn't a horrific defender and rebounder either.

Taking things out of context is fun!
