3 of our losses have been games almost impossible to win.. @ Boston, @ LAL, @ Denver. I can't really fault them for losing those games... blown leads or not.

I'd like to see a competitive game rather than get blown out 3 games in a row....if you remember teams like the 04-05 Bulls would play the best of teams and win a few but stay competitive in most.

I love seeing Oden do that old-school Shaq dunk, though someone is going to start T'ing him up eventually.... like Bevetta.

At least people can finally stop saying that our defense is 'much improved' without BG.

Defense is the same. Offense is significantly worse.

Bulls vs Jazz on TNT right now. Hinrich is apparently out with ligament damage in his hand. Need to find a way to pick up one more game on this trip, let's go.

Except for the game against the Lakers last Thursday and the game against the Cavs the Thursday before..

This season is starting to slip away. Within the last week the Bulls are 0-4 and have been blown out all 4 times and their coach has openly questioned their effort to the media. I think Tyrus being out is hurting them big time. Taj Gibson is not the answer...

Also BG leaving is killing the team. If the Bulls don't play better, their talent is not going to look as appealing to potential FAs next year.

The Bulls have a tough road trip. It is always tough. Yes Ben's scoring is going to be hard to overcome, but I am expecting more from Derrick as soon as his ankle fully heals up. I think that Ben's lack of defense is averaged out by the better defense Salmons will play. Give this team some time and I think they will be better than last year's team.

Do you really think that a team's talent or lack of talent really draws free agents? I am pretty convinced that the bigger contract offer usually wins out.

It's kind of disturbing that we can't beat the Bucks when our 4 best players all have good games. I know the Bucks are decent and we're missing Thomas and Hinrich but still.

Well then none of the FA's are going to leave their current teams because the teams that they're on right now can offer the most money.

At least we fought back in this one. That's a positive I guess, right? Other than that, I have nothing.

All the key FAs this offseason are going to get max deals, and there will be several teams offering the same amount. So yes I do believe the teams talent is a huge factor. It's the reason LeBron won't goto NY. Why would he take less money to join a team that is less equipped to win a championship than his current team?

Because one team is in Cleveland and the other is in New York.

I still see NY as the favorite to land LeBron, because its NY and he would be immortalized there if he won.

But I agree it might be a mistake, and he'll regret it forever if he retires without a ring.

I still think money is somewhat overrated here. Sure, all the guys want as much money as possible, but for a top basketball player like Lebron and Wade, endorsements make up a huge portion of their income. I think that being able to win a championship is more important to these guys than a few million bucks in salary.

wut?

I'm nervous about this offseason, but I'm confident right now that Cleveland will resign him. I think he's just been doing his best to make sure we spend the money to put a good team around him. Plus, Dan Gilbert is a fantastic owner and giggles at luxury tax.

To me there is only two legit spots for James: Cleveland and Miami. NY and NJ are playing themselves OUT of the sweepstakes and no other teams seem to be attractive as a destination and/or don't have the money to throw at him and/or the players/draft picks to work out a s-n-t. The only team that should scare Cleveland fans is Miami.

Agreed. He doesn't need to worry about how good Miami is. If for some reason Miami could keep Wade and get LeBron, they are instant title contenders.

Also, I'm not sure Cleveland would do a S-N-T for the entire Lakers roster.

I don't know why everyone was so down on Milwaukee this year. Possibly because it's a very small market, and the Bucks have been in NBA irrelevance for a number of years (since the ECF year). They were playing very well last year before injuries really tore them apart. They have a lot of young players and no me first superstars, a perfect roster for Skiles to coach to play hard and play defense. And they are playing well without Redd for most of the year.

I don't mind the Bucks, except when the Bulls are playing them. They have an interesting team and I hope they can make some noise in the NBA this year.
