What's stupid is if they beat Toronto they can still make the playoffs. The Eastern Conference is stupid.

Nah. Look at the remaining schedules

Bulls:

@ TOR

vs. BOS

@ CHA

Raps:

vs. CHI

@ NYK

vs. DET

So if the Bulls did win and take a 1 game lead, you have to either hope the Raps lose to one of the two worst teams in the league, or the Bulls have to win out against Boston and Charlotte.

It's possible, but likely? No.

yeah, they're pretty much done.

tonight's loss was EMBARRASSING. playoffs on the line and you lose to one of the worst teams in NBA history.

It's that damn Meadowlands/Continental Airlines/Izod Center/Whatever it's called. Bulls are 1-13 in their last 14 games in that place. Thank God it's the last game they'll likely ever play there. The Bulls could lose to a game of 8 years olds on that court.

Rose choked like a dog at the end of this game. More missed FT's and then an inexplicable turnover with around a minute left in the first OT led to a three point play for the Nets to draw them within a point of us.

What a terrible loss. But according to Funk and King, the Nets are the ones that are chokers. Look at your own team tonight, you idiots.

yeah, if you guarantee playoffs, you aren't allowed to choke like that.

reminded me of when dempster said the cubs would win the world series and then walked 7 guys in game 1 of the NLDS

I'd like our chances if we beat Toronto.

Then again I'm an idiotic optimist.

Embarrassing, yes.

Shocking? Not really. This Bulls team has a couple nice pieces, but they've been prone to put up a stinker all year long.

And they've lost to NJ earlier in the season too.

They just aren't very good.

Bulls up 10 at halftime in Toronto. Joakim Noah already has 10 and 10, with 6 assists as well. D-Rose has 12.

Hopefully they hold on and then the Celtics and Bobcats don't try since they've clinched already.

I think Detroit can beat a Bosh-less Raptors tomorrow. But I don't think they'll lose to the Knicks.

Yeah, they are even money right now to make the playoffs. And if they don't, the NJ loss is going to hurt a lot more.

Oh well, its not like they are beating Cleveland. Maybe they get lucky again and win the lottery.

So how will the Bulls blow this one?

By losing one of the last 2 games, most likely.

A Boshless Toronto isn't much better than Detroit or New York. Boston and Charlotte don't have anything left to play for do they?

Boston will still be in play for the 3rd seed. Although I believe KG sat their most recent game, so we shall see. Charlotte will likely be locked into the 7th seed by the time we play them, if they aren't already.

On Toronto's side, New York has no reason to lose since they don't own their pick, and you could even argue they have motivation to play well to "show off" for Bosh, a potential Free Agent. Detroit has it in their best interest to lose as many games as possible to obtain the highest draft pick and better shot at the top 3. Right now they are right about even with a couple teams.

I'd freak out if that happened. In a good way :)

Don't they trade their pick if they make the lottery or something odd like that?

If it's not a top 3 pick, we have to swap with Milwaukee.

I've heard top 10, but that amounts to the same thing at this point.
