I love when SEC fans bag on the Big Ten for having crap OCC schedules. LOLOLOLOL

Would you consider playing ranked teams like Ohio State and Notre Dame on the road (like USC did) as difficult as playing Akron, Temple and Eastern Illinois at home. Whew how did Penn State beat those powerhouses?

is USC in the SEC?

please, try to read or make sense once in a while.

I have lived in Central Illinois since the early 80s...I dont remember Illinoins ever beating Michigan in back to back years. I may be wrong though. I know Forcier is a Freshman but getting completely outplayed by Juice has got to be embarrassing.

I thought I've heard that Illinois has only beaten Michigan at home something like twice in the last 50 years or something like that.

Duke looks to have wrapped up another win against Virginia. That will make them 5-3 and 3-1 in the ACC. Also, that puts them in sole possession of second place in the Coastal Division.

Did USC join the SEC? I do believe the Pac 10 year in year out play the best non con overall though

I don't know. I'd think Michigan would just turn it down (if teams still do that).

aside from south carolina and clemson pulling their teams from playing in bowls because of the 2004 brawl, i can't think of the last time a team did that. plus michigan would be turning down money that goes to the conference and an opportunity for their fans to come watch them play close to home, and would also piss off mike ilitch, who's a pretty big deal in michigan. turning down that bowl would be pretty insulting.

I think the 2nd year I lived here when Illinois went to the Rose Bowl they beat Michigan at home. We were there and I was irratating my dad by cheering for Illinois. I cant think of another Illinois win at Champaign since

Notre Dame is the only one I remember other than those. (Holtz's last season)

Duke winning whatever they call the division they're in in the ACC would be awesome.

If they beat UNC and GT (and GT beats Wake next week). That would put Duke at 5-1 in the ACC and GT at 5-2 (with Duke obviously holding the tiebreaker). That would mean we would only have to win one of the last two games (Miami and Wake).

It certainly is very unlikely, but the chances go way up with a victory against Georgia Tech.

not really, because then a team like duke or clemson or bc would make the bcs. georgia tech is really the only hope of having a good team come out of that conference.

How many people would watch a BCS game between Duke and Cincinnatti. I'd say it'd be about 7.

They lost to Michigan on Saturday night during the Rose Bowl year.

I honestly don't remember Illinois beating Michigan at Memorial Stadium.

the orange bowl desperately needs the ACC and big east to get better.

UCLA has scored 2 touchdowns and 2 2-pt conversions in the 4th quarter to tie the game at 19-19 in Oregon State. This after not scoring an offensive touchdown in the 10 previous quarters.

Illinois dressed up as the 2007 team today.

Michigan dressed up at Delaware State. Every [expletive] person on the team should be taken out back and shot.

Yeah, it's probably that more than anything else.

i think the illini finally played their optimum game against a team with a frosh qb that sucks against the run. this is the kind of offense that i expexted coming into the year. let leshoure play.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Michigan has to actually win another [expletive] game before they're bowl eligible. Big, big game against Purdue next weekend. Michigan could be in trouble if they don't win that game.

yeah they'll be a pretty heavy underdog at wisconsin and hosting ohio st, so as far as making a bowl game, they really need to beat purdue.
