I am not on the bandwagon to trade Zambrano. Even though I am mad at him for being lazy when it comes to conditioning, I am hopeful that the Cubs will strongly push him this offseason, and that a more conditioned Zambrano will produce better results in 2010.

Carlos will take his shirt off and show you the shape he is in, remember that when you make remarks about his physique.

Z got shelled in the start leading into, and the two starts right after, going on the DL for the second time. Other than that, he's had a pretty darn good year.

I think a lot of critics look at the W-L record. He's had six starts this year, where he's pitched six or more innings and gave up 2 runs or less and not gotten the win. In five starts from May 27 to June 23, he pitched 35 innings, posted a 2.07 ERA, and was 1-0.

He's only 29 years old and still has 3 or 4 seasons of 180-ish innings with a sub-4.00 ERA left in him. I'm not saying he's untouchable, but the Cubs better receive value for him if they do trade him.

I decided to give Marisa Miller another chance. She effed it up once by pretending like she didn't know me when I showed up at her photo shoot.

I'd say next time wear pants, but really, she should know what she's getting into from the outset :)

All we are saying, is give Z a chance

I think he will be in great shape next year, he wants to finish with the Cubs and we will be pleasantly surprised.

Isn't "Give Z a chance" a John Lennon tune?

I disagree. Trade Zambrano and bring wade miller back. Get rid of all these lazy latin and get more industrious white guys. Basically more Mark Graces and less sammy sosas.

Z's behavior much worse than Bradley's. But he is ok and given "another chance."

Why?

Z goes berzerk in the heat of the moment of trying to win a game. Bradley carries around a ton of baggage day in day out, criticizes the organization and paying customers and takes any generic question about play on the field into some existential BS about hatred and negativity.

I don't think anybody gave a crap about Bradley going off on that ump for the bad called strike 3 early in the year. It was all the other BS.

Z also performs well year in and year out (and despite everybody calling him out this year, he's still been pretty good) whereas Milton Bradley has been Ryan Theriot with slightly more pop this season.

Sorry, but Z has got to go. I mean, all malcontents have to go right? It's the law of the world apparently.

Don't worry though, I hear that the Rockies may be up for a sign and trade of Marquis for Zambrano. All we have to do is eat 60% of his contract!!!! :-))

I dont think anything Bradley has done/said justifys the public witchburning we have just witnessed......but ok.

I find Zambrano much more irritating and equally as underwhelming in the "performance-to pay department."

Obviouslly I am in the minority. Cant wait to see that rascal Zambrano throw balls into the outfield and punch players in the face in the dugout next year......that (not so little) rascal. At least he admits he's "out of shape" and hits a home run once in a while.

He's been a douche all year. He deserves it.
