They did fine. That's a brutal road trip. Near the end they were playing too often, after already being tired & away from home for Thanksgiving.

 

I'm happy with it.

I agree, it is. I think it's easy to lose perspective after the 4-0 start to the road trip, but you could really see the difference the long road trip had when they played Anaheim and LA. And trapping teams sometimes give the Hawks trouble.

Yeah, if those losses were spread throughout the trip, nobody would be down. But the fact that they happened at the end of a long trip after the team beat last year's playoff opponents and the conference leader makes them more forgiveable if anything. Add to that the fact that they might serve to keep the team grounded and focused and it's really not that bad of a thing.

I know since that point the Hawks only took 1 of 4 points over the weekend, and the Sharks won 2 games in a row, but still, how can you drop the number 1 team out of the top spot and replace them with with a team the number 1 team destroyed on their home ice that same week.

I don't know if I am the only one, but I am really digging these alternate jersey's. Which to me means the Hawks continue to have the best jersey's in hockey. But I also hope we get to see these jersey's more.
