I swear Kane has that thing on a string sometimes. Amazing.

Patrick Kane... you are ridiculous! That was most impressive.

This has been a great game. Lots of chances on both sides, though Huet has been kept out of trouble lately.

And that [expletive] guy tackled Fraser. If that's not a penalty, I don't know what is.

Yep... Sharks are getting away with too many men on the ice, too (according to Pat).

These Sharks announcers aren't bad, but I wish I could hear Pat and Eddie tonight.

Holy Nabokov! WTF was that pal?

It didn't pay off this time, but I really like how Q puts the energy line out there after icing calls on the opponent. Keep the pressure on, put a few more hits on tired players and good things happen. Smart coaching.

Nichol was shot out of a cannon. Wow.

Before this one I probably would've taken a point. Two would be gravy.

I don't think it was ever in doubt, but I'm hearing that talks between the Chicago Blackhawks and star forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are going very well and that both sides are close to a deal. Both players are slated for restricted free agency July 1, and other GMs were salivating at the chance at plunking down offer sheets for them, but that's not going to happen. I would expect an announcement sometime in the next two weeks.

A team can only afford a certain amount of 7 million dollar dmen. I actually think with Hossa under contract and coming back, the Hawks may be smarter to push to get Keith done long term and let Kane walk.

They are going to have to move Campbell in order to keep Keith and Seabrook. Obviously that needs to be done.

i don't see how they can move campbell - teams these days generally will not take on that sort of contract unless it's for an elite player, and campbell is not an elite d-man - but i do think the hawks need to find a way to keep keith. from what i've seen, retaining him should probably take priority over retaining either kane or toews.

Keith isn't a restricted free agent so they don't have as much incentive to resign him this early.

Are you sure? I was under the impression all three would be RFA after this season.
