You can't say they were just running out the clock running dives up the middle and that they were somehow gaining experience from doing so. I'm sure that will really speed up their development.

 

And unless the yahoo play by play is messed up, they went for a pass on 2nd and 6 immediately before the TD run.

certainly playing against the other teams 1st and 2nd squad would be a positive for underclassmen. some of those guys may only get a quarter's worth of real gametime all year, and you would rather they just take a knee?
