Is the ACC really horrid? They don't have elite teams, but they don't have extremely weak teams either. They're loded with pretty decent teams...at least they were last year.

virginia begs to differ.

The Colonial Athletic Conference went 2-1 against the ACC yesterday. Richmond beat Duke, William & Mary beat Virginia and Boston College killed Northeastern who is essentially the doorstep of the CAA. UMass also only lost by four to Kansas State. The best of the bunch, James Madison plays at Maryland next weekend, and probably will be less than a touchdown underdog.

Maybe with Bradford down, ESPN can update their Big Three Heisman Watch to include Snead. We'll see how he does in an hour or so against Memphis.

Oooh, I forgot Ole Miss played today. I've always kind of sided with the whole Jevan Snead is a better pro prospect than Bradford crowd anyway.

Me too.

I haven't seen a ton of Snead, but he doesn't seem to be a very good passer. Although Bradford has his own set of issues, namely what would he do when he doesn't have an eternity to throw every down.

holy smokes, snead has GOT to calm down. at least that rebel D is sick nasty.

He's forcing everything, looks like a freshman playing instead of a senior.

Great start for the Big 12, aside from OU.

Mizzou really impressed vs Illinois, though it also calls into question how bad UI is. But if Mizzou can keep Gabbert healthy, they'll be dangerous. I still think we'll clown them this year.

OSU also looked good.

Didn't get to see KU at all, but the score was about where it was supposed to be. Same with Neb. Lol at KSU for squeaking by UMASS.

haha, what a horrible roughing call on Memphis. Dude shoves Snead down while he's still following through and they call it helmet to helmet, yikes.

They're getting wayyyyyyyyy too strict in college football about hits like that.

Snead finally woke up.

Houston Nutt is a jackass.

Not watching the game...what's this about?

I turned the game off before then, but I'm guessing it's the 30 yard TD run with 6 seconds left, up 24 points.

It's not like they ran a play with 6 seconds left on the goal line. They were 30 yards out and he ran it up the middle and the guy just happened to break free. Nothing classless about that.

Why didn't they just take a knee? They took over with under 3:30, ran three plays to get a first down, and then ran 3 more to get in the endzone. It was unnecessary and classless to keep trying to gain yards after they got the first down.

If they can't stop run plays up the middle, then so be it. It's not like they were running Wild Rebels or roll out passes or something.

I don't think Nutt is classless. Last year at the end of the LSU game Ole Miss was on the goal line with 50 seconds left and he took two knees. I doubt Nutt was expecting us to score on a dopey clock-winding run up the middle from 33 yards out.
