Brewer fans HATE Ryan Theriot

I was in Kenosha visiting some people, and when it came to baseball talk, the Brewer fans view Ryan Theriot as the devil. Sounds a lot how Cub fans used to view David Eckstein when he was a Cardinal. Basically, they want him out of the division ASAP. From the way they sounded, its pretty universal amongst Brewers fans.

That's not at all how we viewed eckstein. pretty sure that anyone with half a brain would have loved for eckstein to be a cardinal for life

I think it's the lack of range/arm as a SS and his consistent lackluster base running everyone doesn't like. He's a decent hitter, yes, but isn't a very good SS and is just dumb on the bath paths.

The reason Brewers fans hate Ryan Theriot so much is because when he's playing against them they expect him to suck. But when he gets on base 3-4 times and is causing trouble it pisses people off. The big sluggers you expect to do well, but when the little peasky guys do well it pisses you off and makes you hate the player.
