Seems like this argument has been won...

You no longer amuse me.

Why don't you head on back over to cardstalk or whatever the name of your favorite cardinals site is.
Based on his IP address and registration e-mail address it's more likely he's a Brewers troll.

2/3 of an inning and no hits isn't awful, is it?!?!?!

lol are you really implying that his outing wasn't awful just because he didn't give up any hits?

I'm guessing he is being sarcastic.

I'm just a realist. We can't win jack [expletive]. There's a reason we haven't won in 100 years. We are as [expletive] of a franchise as there is in sports.

:rotfl:

I'm sorry, is anything in his statement untrue?

So I was thinking...is Carlos Marmol the new Rich Hill?

Well Marmol has 2 great years under his belt, as opposed to 1 pretty good year for Hill. Even this year is above average when you consider ultimate results.

Unless you are referring to complete loss of control, which I'm starting to think you are.

You mean other than the last sentence?

Thats what I was referring to...he has no clue where the ball is going...he just can't be trusted in high leverage situations until he figures it out..Guzman has to be the 8th inning guy now (if not the closer)...marmol gets the up 4 / down 4 role until he can get through at least two appearances in a row without walking a guy.

Someone said that with the amount of servce time Marmol has, he cant be optioned without other teams being able to make a claim or something like that, but the Brewers just optioned JJ Hardy, and he has more service time than Marmol.

Didn't Hardy clear waivers?

Methinks Marmol's elbow is about to go pop soon.

I was thinking the same thing myself. I thought the usual sign is a drop in velocity and he was hitting 94 last night. I wonder if his shoulder is giving him trouble.

Loss of velocity points to shoulder problems, loss of control points to elbow.
