This game got boring... I also thought this could be one of those 10-8 games, but then I remembered that would be severely over-estimating the Cubs' ability to score runs

Even though I tried to temper my own excitement after the Nationals series I was expecting us to hit a bit better because it looked like Fontenot, Bradley and Soriano were turning around

But we're still not scoring many runs. :?:

EDIT: hahaha was typing this up decided to send it anyway

If we didn't have the potential for crap, crap and more crap pitching the next few days, I'd say pull Wells now and go Guz, Marmol, and Gregg to end it.

Wow...Milton actually got good wood on that.. Good job

I've been saying all year that it is just a matter of time. So, I'll say it one more time, it's only a matter of time before he starts raking.

I have a gut feeling that he is really going to carry us the last month or two of the season.

The discussion of Beuhrle vs Wood is interesting, intelligent, informative, and totally out of place in this game thread. I will enjoy reading the rest of it in the CUBS discussion forum later on.

 Is it really that big of deal to discuss this in a game thread? Not like there is alot of action going on in this game right now.

Generally speaking, no. In this instance, when it becomes a couple dozen posts back and forth, it does become tedious.

Meanwhile.... is the game getting more exciting for you ???
