Reds announcers are just horrible. They're discussing mullets right now, and can't even get it right (color guy said "party in the front, business in the back").

 

They also said "Votto not only hits the Cubs well, but also hits well in Wrigley"

This game got boring... I also thought this could be one of those 10-8 games, but then I remembered that would be severely over-estimating the Cubs' ability to score runs

The discussion of Beuhrle vs Wood is interesting, intelligent, informative, and totally out of place in this game thread. I will enjoy reading the rest of it in the CUBS discussion forum later on.

 

:scratch: Is it really that big of deal to discuss this in a game thread? Not like there is alot of action going on in this game right now.

The Reds PBP guy today is a fill in. He is the regular announcer for their AAA affiliate and has been there for years. He's actually a pretty good guy, I used to work with him.

 

The muller talk was crazy though.
