That was needless stressful, but it sure is nice to get a win. Hopefully the Cardinals drop a game in Philly tonight.

To me this is an impressive victory. They scored early, they came back from a multiple run deficit, they tacked on runs late. The starter bounced back from a rough start and the pen shut the other team down in poor pitching conditions. Just all the way around a nice win for the Cubs.

 

i REALLY like the power - that's been kinda lacking lately. nice to see fontenot and aram hit homers, especially, since fontenot has sucked most of the year and aram is still hurting.

Yea the power was nice, and expected with the wind blowing out. Its been a weird summer in Chi for weather, and seems like the wind has blown in 80% of the time. Lets hope they can get on a damn roll.
