I feel like there is something going on with the club that we don't know about. Lee not running now combined with some of the other stuff like how Soriano looks as though he would rather be anywhere, but the ballpark. There is also just this total lack of urgency to turn things around. It may just be frustration, but something seems off.

 

Big Z sounding like he just couldn't WAIT to retire was pretty weird too. No wonder they killed the gatorade machine. There's something in the water.

I think all of us don't want to go back to the losing Cubbies after two straight playoff apperances.

 

Thus, I feel we are all trying so hard to root for this team and believe they somehow can snap out of it......but we all know this just isn't a good ballclub as it's currently constructed.

 

We have all seen bad Cubs teams. More bad teams than good ones. I think we have to accept the fact that it ain't happening this season, and stop trying to come up with reasons why it will.

 

I'm not sure what I said even made sense. I'm just fatigued watching this team. Sorry.
