I hate people that cheat. About the worst thing you can do in my mind. With that said its not unheard of for a wife not wanting to have sex during pregnancy and allowing the husband to have sex with others during. It's rare but there are cases of it happening.

Hahahahahaha

Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, Charles Manson, Scott Peterson, and a whole host of crazy, psycho killers and the like agree with you.

Yeah cause a majority of people don't think cheating is a horrible thing to do. Are you people really getting on me for saying cheating is an awful thing to do? Really? I guess all of you just want to argue with anything I post even when you agree with it. Whatever gets you off I guess.

I don't think I normally argue with you. However, in this case, I happen to believe cheating on your wife/husband isn't even on the top 500 list. The list of things I could come up with that are worse than cheating on someone would probably take me days, maybe weeks to complete, and the list would be rather lengthy. And probably a bit grotesque now that I think about it.

I don't condone cheating, but come on. No one physically gets hurt. No one's life is over as we know it. Tell you what, if you came over here and had sex with my wife and then shot my dog, I'd probably have to kill you. Not for having sex with my wife, but for killing my dog. This is assuming that the sex was not forced sex, of course.

A huge percentage of the people I know have cheated on their significant others at one time in their lives. If I kicked them all to the curb for that, I wouldn't have many friends. The first time one of my friends shoots someone's cat, I probably wouldn't want to be their friend anymore. And I happen to hate cats. Why you ask? What kind of sick individual runs around shooting people's cats?

Just going to have to agree to disagree. To use you example, I would much rather someone shoot a pet than sleep with my wife/girl friend. I could get over the loss of a pet. It would take a heck of a lot more for me to get over a cheating significant other, especially if it was with someone I knew. It would plague my mind. My brother and I have always had an understanding that if we ever cheat to fully expect a severe beat down.

In reference to the cats question ... evil Bill and Ted do.

I agree to a point. Severe violations of trust are major factors in affecting how we feel about ourselves and how we view others and the relations we have with others. A severe betrayal can have a profound effect of the quality of one's remaining life.

It isn't death, but it isn't to be dismissed, either.

Most of you sound like that chick who hates Sandberg.

Hey now.

I didn't say it was the worst thing ever, just that it isn't something that can just be let go.

I think that maybe a few people here are just rationalizing having done it.

Men have been cheating on women for eons...it's the way we are programed.

We were also programed to smash each other with rocks. Hopefully we've evolved a bit.

Many people kill themselves over less.

That's the idea though. Quality over quantity.

No question that taking the life of a pet is worse, far worse.

If Brendan Frazier can evolve when Pauly Shore is the one helping him I'm pretty sure anyone can.

I haven't done it, nor would I do it, but I don't just automatically ditch friends who have cheated and I certainly don't see why a ballplayer doing it changes anything.

I agree with that. I would never ditch a friend over it unless they did it in a singularly horrendous manner.

I just disagree with the notion that it is something we should just accept as natural. By the time you are an adult (30's), you should have a good idea as to whether you are capable of being monogamous. If you aren't, don't get into a committed relationship, it's as simple as that.

I don't think it's "natural" per se, but I get why it often happens.

I guess I'm more surprised at seemingly how many people seem to be let down by Carlo's maybe cheating on his wife. Personally, I'm actually surprised when I find out a young player is married in the first place as oppose to finding out one sleeps around or cheats. I just assume any of them are still single and reaping the benefits of their career, or if they're married I just assume they are or have gotten some on the side.

If I were rich, in my 20's and away from home half the time, I wouldn't even attempt a monogamous relationship, I would work that for everything it was worth. Marriage could wait.

I mean, we can't all be A.C. Green.
