Andddd we have let Taylor settle in what a shock

It shouldnt be, our best hitter thus far is sitting on the bench. To get Reed Johnson at bats.

 

Allegedly because he sucks against lefties, though he has the highest OPS against lefties on the team.

Either way our offense can afford to sit a guy with an OPS that high.

It still blows my mind that Aaron Miles is our starting 2B for the moment.

Miles from the get go might be one of the dumbest FA signings from Hendry and he has plenty. It's up there with Neifi and Burnitz.

Very true, but high walks totals/rates has been a staple of the Larry Rothschild/Jim Hendry era with Cubs pitchers. It's just an exaggerated version of more of the same.

High walks totals/rates have been a staple of the Chicago CUBS pitchers for over 50 years now.
