Jeez st louis reminds me of their 2004 team when everytime you looked at their score it was like 8-0. Let's hope that this is just a hot streak to start the year. That said, I am not worried in the least about the cubs

Taveras singled to right field

Taveras took third on a wild pickoff throw, E1

Dickerson called out on strikes

Votto doubled to left field , Taveras scored

Encarnacion flied out to center field

Votto took third on a wild pitch

Bruce grounded out to second, 4-3

That team had some talent though. Pujols, Edmonds, Rolen, Renteria, Walker. This one is being held up by Chris Dunca, Brian Barden, Yadier Molina, etc. This one can't keep that pace up.

That team had some talent though. Pujols, Edmonds, Rolen, Renteria, Walker. This one is being held up by Chris Dunca, Brian Barden, Yadier Molina, etc. This one can't keep that pace up.

 

Pujols, Ludwick, and Ankiel are a damn good foundation. When Try Glaus comes back, that solidifies it. We'll have to see what Barden and Duncan end up doing.

They are a good foundation, although I don't think Ankiel's all that great. Now look at the pitching of the two clubs.
