Losing 2 out of 3 to the team at home to a team with the worst manager in baseball is always awesome. Way to go, guys. Way to look like the defending NL Central Champions!

Is the real Geo closer to the sucky one from this season or the good one from last year?

It's 14 games into the season.

The Cubs sit at 8-6 right now. Half of our regulars on offense are hitting below the Mendoza line. Our starting pitching has been terribly mediocre, and our bullpen has been a complete mess. I don't know about you guys, but I figure we'll get a little better as the days pass on, especially our starting pitching. I know this is a game thread and it's intended to be irrational, but I can't help but think the Cubs are going to be just fine.

Good job Lou, way to throw Hoff under the bus. For those of you who didnt see it, Hoff will no longer be playing RF when Bradley is out of the linuep. Reed will be in CF and Fuku will be playing RF.

good for lou

if i was lou, i would be bloody pissed off too

Hoff botched a couple plays in RF today, and during the postgame Lou said Hoff will no longer play RF when Bradley is out of the lineup.

Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of him at his natural position.

I'm not sure what you are all talking about in here.

We didn't play a game today.

At least, none that I recognize

So what's the problem here?

When Lou is finished making proclamations like "Bradley won't play if he's not 100 percent" and "Hoff won't play RF anymore", we're not going to have nine to take the field with.

God, I hate everything about baseball right now. Gotta love Brian [expletive] Barden almost OPSing more than our 3-4-5 hitters put together.

And on the Boyd/Hoye thing, we misidentified him as Boyd in that game thread a few times before ultimately deciding after the game that he didn't deserve to be called by his real name. Hence, Boyd.

Can I throw Lou under the bus for either...

A) Calling so many straight steals and hit and runs

or

B) Not telling his players to stop straight stealing

Because neither one of those things are helping the Cubs right now.

You really dont see the problem? Basically because of Lous knee jerk reaction(again) we are going to get to see Reed [expletive] Johnson face right hand pitching everyday. Hoff made some mistakes, big [expletive] deal, our offense has scored 1 god damn run in the last 18 innings and our manager decides to throw Hoff under the bus for bad defense. Give me a [expletive] break
