I keep wanting to stop by 5 guys, but it's a little bit out of the way for me. Is it worth it? What makes them so good?

Who's been to both 5 Guys and In&Outs and can tell me which is better?

5 Guys. In & Out is definitely good, but the burgers aren't as big or filling as the ones from 5 Guys, plus the 5 Guys' fries are worth it by themselves. The In & Out fries are just typical fries.

In N Out fries are not typical fries.

Best burger I've ever had. The fries are good and you get a lot of them. And...free peanuts.

Apparently one of those is going up in the town I work in. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

McDonalds finally has a bacon cheeseburger. Finally.

Wendy's has some bleu cheese bacon burger right now. Fast food shouldn't do bleu cheese, ever

Exactly. You can actually watch them make the fries while sitting in the drive through. And I don't mean just watching them dump them in the grease. They actually MAKE the fries on site.

I stopped to chat with friends at the local bar on my way home yesterday. They don't serve food there, but people have wings and pizza delivered all the time. Two guys walked in with bags from five guys and everybody there started drooling. The aroma completely changed the atmosphere. I had to leave.

I used to make everyone in the office angry whenever I made my weekly trip to Velvet Freeze for Wonder Dogs.

The stench was amazing. But damn, those were some good hot dogs.

If you ever find yourself in Peoria, look for a Velvet Freeze and order a half dozen Wonder Dogs. Yes, you can actually eat 6 of 'em. They are that good.

I've lived in Peoria for about 5 years now or so (college and after) and I have yet to go to the one in CampusTown, despite the fact that I am only like a minute away from it.

I just had 5 guys when I was back in State College. Definitely got more expensive (my cheeseburger/fries/drink was around $8.50). Still awesome. I couldn't even finish the "small" fry

So is In N Out going to get added or what?

The best.

3x3 animal style with fries and a coke.

Is there a posted list somewhere for all the ways In n Out will prepare their menu for you, such as animal style. Isn't animal style with chili?
