What a pathetic excuse for an NBA officiating crew Jesus Christ these clowns are a bunch of jackasses who dont know wtf they are doing out there.

Oh and good job Miller. Why wouldnt you have Tyrus right there who we know can get from the top of the key to the hoop in 3 secs and hammer it in.

Because Brad Miller is the better outside shooter.

Better FT shooter, too.

Yea I understand that, but man had that been Tyrus he woulda taken bout 1 step and hammered it home.

No, Tyrus would also be at the FT line shooting two.

Do you really think the Celtics were going to let whomever go unimpeded?

Tyrus would've dunked that, easily. Rondo barely got there and had to flail at his face just to get a foul on the slowest guy in the league.

On the other hand, you can't just assume anyone besides Brad Miller would've been left that wide open with an open lane.

Agreed.

Nothing you can do when the officiating is this bad. Rondo has been getting the DWade treatment all series.

I didn't see much out of line with the officiating when it came to Rondo. The problem is that Rose flat out can't guard him.

Then I'm sorry, you're just blind. No disrespect intended... I'm still pissed off. It has been absolutely terrible.

And Kendrick Perkins goes all game without a foul? My ass. Hell, he was doing his best to foul Rose on that putback. Sickening non-call.

Can you name specific examples? I can think of plenty of other non-Rondo fishy officiating (like the Perkins hack on Rose that wasn't called) but nothing too out of the ordinary when it came to Rondo.

Rondo is the biggest problem in the series for the Bulls, but it has little to do with the officiating. When the big men don't flash hard enough on the picks, when Derrick stays flat footed and high, and when he clowns the whole defense in transition he's going to hurt us, badly. He's a ridiculous talent.

Rondo is getting calls that every guy who breaks down defenders so easily gets (except Rose maybe--and I've complained about the way Derrick's been officiated all year).

Disappointing game. Rose was really bad down the stretch. He looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Del Negro didn't do a good job coaching. Had 10.5 to win it in regulation and refused to pick and roll. Allowed the team to go one-on-one, and settled for a jump shot from somebody other than Gordon.

I still would put Hinrich on Pierce and let Salmons guard House. Hinrich is simply better on the ball, size disadvantage or not.

The biggest "buh?" moment by Vinny was when he put Kirk on Marbury of all people on the C's final possession in regulation. Of course Pierce just calmy drains one over Rose after Salmons switches off of him.

Why would you have Kirk, who played brilliantly and has done an awesome job on Pierce in this series, on Marbury (who passed up a WIDE open 3 on the previous possession)?

I sincerely hope people are going to start remembering that Kirk Hinrich is valuable now. He should have been on Pierce throughout OT.

An hour later and I still feel awful.

What a horrendous ending to a game that we should've just put our foot down and ran away with in the 4th. The refs were awful, but I have to give credit to Boston because they realized that if they were going to lose this game, they were going to lose the series. Just stupid, stupid, stupid coaching decisions. I'm still dumbfounded on how you let Salmons guard Pierce one on one when Allen is fouled out. That's so frustrating.

As for the last play, I don't have any problem with it. I don't think it was a flagrant either. You can't make a call like that when the game's on the line. It was a hard foul but no matter how foolish Rondo looked, there's no way he wasn't trying to go for the ball in that situation. Miller just choked at the foul line but that wasn't the reason we lost this game.

It'll be interesting to see how we respond on Thursday. Do we put this behind us and bust our ass the whole game or do we have a hangover and get blown out of the building like last Thursday? I'm betting a little in between, but I don't see how there's any way we win.

He's a good defender but he faded down the stretch as usual. He has had a good series and hopefully other teams around the league take note and make his value higher for us.

That might have had something to do with him bouncing his head off the floor at the end of the 3rd.

I'm actually more pissed off right now than I was about the Cubs in the playoffs. At no point did I think the Cubs got screwed out of anything significantly in the playoffs. They just sucked. Despite the differences in expectations, I'm taking this a lot worse.

And I'm surprised by that, because 5 hours ago, there's no way I would've thought I'd say something like that.

Yeah, I feel your pain.

Yep. I was disappointed by the Cubs but I want to break things because of this one. I just don't feel like we have a chance because the officiating has been and other reasons as well.

Basketball has always been the most exhilarating/agonizing sport for me to watch because the immediacy of the plays makes it easy to hang on everything that goes right or wrong.

This series is taking years off of my life, I'm sure of it.

Hinrich has been bad in the clutch throughout his career.
