Why is it weird? Mullens doesn't have any identifiable NBA skills besides height and despite that height, he's a terrible rebounder.

 

Guys like Mullens flop all the time in the NBA. Guys like Blair succeed a lot more often. If you're a demon on the glass in college there's a good chance it'll translate to the pros.

Also, anyone notice that Johnson weighed in at 257? Everything I read prior said he was in the 235 range. That beef (hopefully it's not a gut) does change my perception of him a bit. We need a banger down low who's more interested in rebounding and position defense rather than spectacular shot blocking.
