I really don't like Wandy Rodriguez.

Beat him, Cubs.

Also, Milton Bradley, the cartwheeling outfielder gets his first hit tonight.

That depends, If Bradley has a bad game he really only deserves Neifi Perez. If he goes 4-4 with a dinger maybe we should give him Muhammad Ali or Michael Jordan.

If he ever goes 5-5 he should get black Jesus.

Good Job today you have to :hello: (tip your hat) to Carlos Zambrano. I can't remember any time we've rocked Wandy Rodriguez but do it tomorrow Cubs.

CUBS (Harden) tagged Wandy for 6 ER in 5 innings on 05 Aug 08 in game the CUBS won 11-6. CUBS (Marquis) tagged him for 7 ER in 3.3 innings on 15 July 07 in a 7-6 win.

On the other side of the ledger, Wandy beat Zambrano 4-1 on 19 July 08, Rich Hill 2-1 on 06 Aug 07, and Sean Marshall 6-1 on 31 Aug 07.

If I remember correctly we usually pound Wandy at Wrigley, but he turns in CY Young at MMP.

You've got a pretty good memory there.

We've won our division two years in a row, and anybody in our division will want to beat us and knock you off that perch. I remember when I played in Cincinnati in '02 and even '03, we weren't very good, and every time we played the Cubs, it's like all of a sudden everybody on the team got really good for three days.

I knew it!

I think we win this one but lose tomorrow's game. Lilly vs the guy who always owns us.

Didnt we smack Moehler around and call him Shirley the last time we faced him after he owned us the first 2?

As far as today goes, We can beat Wandy. I dont care how good he was at home last year, this is a new team, out to win. Lets do it.

Well we should see Reed Johnson in CF today I would think, but I wonder if Lou is going to pull Fontenot for Miles vs the lefty.

I would say that's very likely that Miles will also be in.

The interesting thing will be the lineup order..we haven't seen anything against lefties. Does Theriot move up to 2? Reed? Or Miles? My guess is:

Soriano

Theriot

Lee

Bradley

Ramirez

Soto

Johnson

Miles

But Miles and Theriot could be switched, Reed could be up to 2, Miles to 7, Theriot to 8..Reed could also be moved ahead of Soto. There's several combinations that Lou could easily come out with tonight.
