I could see right around 80. And that's if guys like Hochevar realize their potential.

 

Gordon and Butler too. A lot of things need to go right for them in order to contend, but the chancesd of that happening are slim. If Gordon and Butler play like they have been expected to, and Teahen puts it together again, and Aviles wasn't a fluke, and the rotation holds up decently enoughb they could have a shot. But like dew said it's a longshot

 

The Royals are really interesting because they're young and have a lot of potential.

 

I really like a lot of their young talent, so I think they'll do better than most people do. Contention's a pretty big longshot, though.

AL Central winners I disagree with. I could see 80 wins, maybe 82-85 if things go very well.

 

If a few young pitchers and a couple young hitters develop, I could see them fighting for a wild card berth, though (assuming the wild card leader isn't a great deal better than the AL Central leader).
