Tigers Sign Brandon Lyon

Brandon Lyon agreed to a $4.25 million, one-year contract with the Detroit Tigers, who are trying to improve their bullpen.

 

The Tigers announced the deal Saturday at TigerFest, a fan event at Comerica Park.

Not a horrible signing, though I don't know how good he was last year.

I'd say that Kevin Gregg is better than Lyon at this point for similar money.

Lyon is 2 years younger and his 2007 was better than anything Gregg has ever done.

 

Gregg was much better last year, though.
