Should the refs take their time and look at that play carefully before making it offical? Yeah. But let's not forget two important factors:

1: What a throw and catch by Big Ben and Holmes. Not as good as Manning/Tyree, but a helluva play.

2: For all their effort to come back and take the lead, the Cards couldn't "man up" when they needed to and make a key stop.

-----

With that said, the Bears need to be studying how the Steelers are doing what they are doing. Cause as a Bear fan, it is embarrassing that one of the true great franchise in the sport and they have only one super bowl victory and two sb appearances. This franchise needs to be up there with the Cowboys/49ers/ and Steelers.

LMAO Holmes is a moron:

Q: "What did you think after Fitzgerald scored?"

A: "I knew our defense was gonna get us the ball back and give us a chance to score"

wow

That's awesome.

Yeah, I was about to say something about that too. Makes me even more embarrassed that a complete idiot just dominated the Cards defense that final drive.

the woman who was interviewing whisenhunt is boring as all hell.

"What did you think about the Santonio Holmes TD?" What a stupid question.

The better question would have been "Does your defense know that Santonio Holmes exists and can catch the ball?"

how is the last play not reviewed by the booth? even if the refs are 99% sure it was the correct call, it was still close it enough that it should be reviewed. it's the final play of the super bowl there is way too much on the line for it not to be looked at closer.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, FTH:

A 30-second clip of a pornographic movie cut into a Comcast broadcast of the Super Bowl in homes in and around Tucson, several Star readers said Sunday night.

Several callers to the Star newsroom said that the broadcast cut into the feed with about three minutes left in the game and showed a woman unzipping a man's pants.

The clip showed full frontal male nudity.

That they didn't review it. And that nobody even talked about it in the postgame.

gotcha. i thought you meant my post for a second.

i also was hoping it would be addressed by one of the 14 people on nbc's postgame show but i couldn't take too much of it and turned it off.

I could barely stomach any of that, but in the bit that I saw, they didn't even mention that. Horrible.

I watched the entire postgame show and even ESPN for a few minutes after the game. No mention from anyone.

The only half-hearted mention that it might be a fumble was from Chris Myers on Fox Sports Radio after the game. I was driving home and he mentioned (somewhat under his breath) that it was an incomplete pass and the Cardinals should have had another chance. With Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin on the field, that seems like a pretty huge gaffe to not rightfully give them one more shot at the end zone.

Also, since the unsportsmanlike penalty was assessed on the Steelers, wouldn't it have been assessed if the Cards had gotten the ball back - thus giving Arizona one last crack from the Pittsburgh 29? That's no longer a hail mary and, with that offense, it's very possible to make it.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaah-waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah-waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Love the Cardinals losing and especially love Warner losing. Take your stupid, almost a lie backstory and retire.

I was pulling for the Steelers in the game (as much as I cared who won, that is). I just don't understand not reviewing that.
