So a team is supposed to game plan so they don't have players hitting the wall?

That is exactly what Northwestern's coach was doing.

"We talked already about [having a] 'Going-east red-zone game plan', [and a] 'Going-west red-zone game plan.' You have to adjust to it. It's kind of like having the elements, whether it's rainy or snowy or windy, sometimes you have to adjust your game plan."

It's not like paralysis is awesome.

Hyperbole.

NU, Wrigley and the NCAA all have a duty to ensure that the players have a safe field to play on. This is a serious liability issue, and although I feel bad that some ticketholders may be cheated out of the full experience they paid for, I would much rather not have a student athlete seriously injure themselves as a result of a completely avoidable condition.

It is amazing down here. And getting down here at 4:30 was so worth it. Got a first row spot, though I was about 5 people too close to the desk for most shots. Still got some airtime for my signs, though.

They did an amazing job with everything here.

What did your signs say? I am watching the recording on my DVR right now.

Thank god they remembered to put padding on the far left field wall, wouldn't want someone running 60 yards through the sidelines and getting hurt in the ivy

What really sucks about this game is the fact that only one team showed up. Everything else has been fascinating.

Don't worry, it is only Sulley's team, after all. Something will come up

That didn't take long.

feels good to beat up on fancy pattie.

Northwestern probably lost as part of their nefarious plan to keep the Zooker employed in Champaign for another decade.

My opinion, based solely on TV (DVR recording viewed just now):

I think the entire "experience" sucked. Bob Davies spent as much time apologizing for Wrigley, Allstate, Chicago, Big Ten, the two schools, and ESPN that I felt like throwing the remote at the TV screen. What a crappy game! And, the football teams weren't much better.

And, Wrigley.....

Good gawd.......

What a dump!

It reminds me of old Texas Stadium, which had become a dump, also.

Memories of my first Cubs-Cardinals game in 1955 at Wrigley have clouded my mind. Time to go somewhere else....
