:hello:

Well, I'll be there at least.

Why can't I help but get a mental image of a college student in his Wrigley working outfit standing outside peering through the window?

Im guessing theres not, but is there any live feed on here to see anything going on at the convention like Bradley being produced tonight or basically just wait for the highlights on CSN?

My mom and dad are there. . . . . .she called and told me that Steve Trout is there.

I think we can all rest a little easier now.

Just got home. It was really cool. I got stationed up on the balcony with all the players for opening ceremonies, which were fun to watch. Then I was in the room with the sports central broadcast on 720. Which was also fun to listen to. Good day.

Holy CRAP. Someone buy Reed a razor before spring training. Yikes.

is that Gathright? Looks like he just realized he is woefully underdressed.

Cut him some slack, he just came from jumping cars in the hotel garage.

Every team needs a Jason Giambi, aka facial hair grower.

Ours apparently is Reed. :-))

Didn't the 2004 Boston Red Sox win the World Series on facial hair alone?

Did Hendry get booed?

Thats probably unlikely after back to back division titles and a 97 win season. Even though he let fan favorites in DeRosa and Wood go. Most fans will still give him the benefit of the doubt on this offseason moves, and see how these moves work out first. It's pretty hard to boo a guy, at this point.

I'm pretty sure that is Gathright.

Who's the guy in the background there, with the stubble and glasses? Hoffpauir? Gregg? That was the only guy I couldn't ID.

When Reed stepped out on stage the first time I about crapped myself. Holy freaking crap that beard is awesome.

Also, I got the chance to talk to Wayne Messmer for a couple of minutes last night - really nice guy. As for boos, the only guy who really heard any boos when they got introduced was Aaron Miles and even that was a mixed reaction. Santo, like always, got the biggest cheers. Well, it was actually about tied with the reception Soto got when Crane Kenny mentioned his Rookie of the Year award.

Who is the little guy with the black shirt and extremely fruity goatee?

He's laughing with Z in the third photo and smiling with Reed Johnson and Tony Soprano in the sixth photo.

I think he's also the guy with his back to the camera in the photo in which Ryan Dempster is reaching for his gun.
