I would love to do that. But I don't think Randy Moss ass licker would be a good name for the Mods.

Wait, is someone actually trying to argue that a 40 year old QB coming off a disastrous late-season collapse isn't declining?

Really?

Im saying Brett Favre next year in Minnesota, where he would not be throwing the ball 30 times a game, will have a better year then Cutler in Chicago.

He's not coming to Minny to hand the ball off every play.

In Brett Favre's entire career, he's had one season where he didn't average 30 attempts per game. 2003...he attempted 29.4. If you're going to use the health of his entire career to say he'll be healthy this year, why not use his passes attempted stats from his entire career to determine how many passes he'll attempt?

Adrian Peterson

Ahman Green ran for 1800+ yards in 2003, the only year that Favre barely fell short of throwing 30 per game. If Favre doesn't throw 30 per game this year, he's not going to miss it by much.

Because Favre is going to be 40. It makes it impossible for him to have a better year then Cutler?

How many quarterbacks have. Had good seasons at age 40?

How many quarterbacks with bad shoulders that need to be surgically repaired have had good seasons at age 40?

And that was the year that Ahman Green nearly ran for 1900 yards as well as Davenport and Fisher averaging over 5 yards a carry. That was one of the best rushing seasons in NFL history and he still nearly averaged 30 attempts a game. People are foolish if they think Childress won't air it out with Favre. He'll fall into the same trap that Mangini did last year.

If he agrees to come back now, there will be pressure to show up to at least one offseason workout. He can't have that. Look for him to return in the middle of training camp, right when two-a-days start to decrease.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Or at least in mid July, when all the boring OTAs and such are over.

I know it's fun to speculate he would do this, but hasn't he really jumped the shark at this point if he even starts to talk comeback again sometime this summer? Clearly he doesn't care what we say about him, but come on. It's beyond ridiculous now. If rumors start to surface again later this summer, ugh.
