Tennessee will likely name Jim Chaney Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach in the next few days.

 

Yo, Purdue peeps... what's the good word on Chaney? In his 4 years as recruiting coordinator at Purdue, they finished int he Top 10 in Rivals recruting rankings every year. Any other insight on him?

 

This is all very discouraging news. I'm hoping more than ever that Lane calls his own plays.

 

Ed Orgeron to LSU is nearly done, according to LSU's Rivals site.

 

If both he and Chavis sign their reported contracts, O (the DL coach) will make more than Chavis (the D Coordinator).

 

Heard this on the radio this morning and was hoping it wasn't true.

Well I guess I was wrong LSU vs. Georgia Tech.

 

I still maintain that Les Miles is an awful, awful coach that is not nearly in the same class as Carroll, Saban, Meyer, Stoops, etc.

 

I would be shocked if Miles has more success than Fulmer had in the post Tee Martin era because he is not a very good football mind. I think he's the worst coach to ever win a national title.

good to see that lsu narrowed the gap to just 18 slots by beating tech by 5 touchdowns.

 

Almost as good as the ACC widening the gap on the SEC by losing two Bowl games to SEC teams. Nothing says "our conference is better" like losing twice to the same conference in one day.
